Sydney wearing her pearls from China. We purchased a wedding box in China and placed this picture of her wearing her pearls, along with the pearl necklace and matching pearl earrings, inside the box. It is our hope that we can give her the wedding box (assuming she gets married, and if not we will pick a special day to give it to her) on her wedding day. I wish I could take credit for this wonderful idea but I heard of it from another mom who adopted her daughter from China. I hope that Sydney will cherish it.
